Fundación Hipercolesterolemia Familiar

The project

“Familial Hypercholesterolaemia Foundation” (Fundación Hipercolesterolemia Familiar) is a organisation devoted to the study and awareness of genetic cholesterol.

Besides information and prevention contributions, this Foundation conducts studies in order to contribute to the research of this disease.

Our partnership with this Foundation started with the development of its new corporate website. This first work enabled us to know about its organisation, goals and research.

From this relation emerged the possibility of cooperation in the optimisation of its information systems, which had been already developed some years ago but with a rigid structure.

Our approach

The main aim of this project is to provide this organisation with an advance and flexible tool for the development of studies, an information system which enables the Foundation, doctors, researchers and participants to include and consult data in each research.

During the first weeks we focused on learning the Foundation working procedure. Thanks to these conversations, new improvement and optimisation possibilities emerged, some of which are now part of the project.

The development, which has been structured into several phases, continues nowadays.
